Leona’s former mentor Simon Cowell “hit the roof” when he heard what happened to her at the recent book signing, and by the sounds it, Leona’s security will be stepped up because of it. Simon said:

“I was stunned anyone would want to attack her. We need to make sure she is protected.”

Meanwhile, the attacker has been charged with assault and sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
