Soon to return from recording her new album in Los Angeles, Leona Lewis is looking for a new home in England, and Leona apparently already has her eye on a £1 million rural retreat in a Hertfordshire village.

“She’s spotted a converted barn, which she loves,” says a friend. “It would be ideal as it’s still close enough for her to commute into London yet it’s private enough for her to have some time to herself.

The 24-year-old star already owns a £120,000 flat with her boyfriend Lou Al-Chama in Hackney, East London, though her busy schedule has meant she’s hardly spent any time there.
