Leona credits the honesty of her family and friends in stopping her getting swept away by her sudden fame. Lewis, who is teetotal and prefers to not wear clothes that “show off your bits”, told Parade recently that it would have been all too easy for her to have become wrapped up in the idea of being a celebrity: “A performer’s privacy is taken away. The media are always there. You can’t make your mistakes in private.
“[But] I have the advantage of a great support structure. “I get honest opinions from my family and friends. They aren’t always telling me what I want to hear, but the truth helps keep my head straight.” But she added that comparisons to A-list pop divas such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston are “amazing”: “It’s exceedingly gratifying, because they’re so great.” Source: Fametastic |

It’s lovely that family and friends support you Leona, you are very lucky to have them all, not many celebrities have real friends who give them truthful advices, I mean let’s face it, most celebrities have ” friends ” that obviously have reasons to be their friends. Like taking advantage of their image, money, support, I mean really, you are the luckiest person to have them and don’t you ever let fame make you change. I always believed that fame is not real, it’s a cover, don’t judge a book by it’s covers, what matters is what’s inside.
So stay like this and you will be loved for who you are, not for the image you take on :)
