Gary Barlow from Take That met Leona when they performed together in the final of X Factor.
Gary said, “She is by far the best voice we’ve had from a talent show. So it would be a privilege to help her get started. “I already have an idea for the kind of track that would suit her.”
Gary wrote most of Take That’s greatest hits, including ‘Back for Good’ and ‘Never Forget’, and has had huge success as a songwriter ever since.
In response to Gary’s proposal, Leona said: “I hope Simon Cowell says yes to the idea as he is the boss.
“But this is beyond my wildest dreams. Gary Barlow wanting to write for me – wow!” insider said: “Gary offered there and then to help out.”

It’s finally time to teach the world about true talent! The Diva in waiting has finally arrived!!!
It would be great for Gary Barlow to write a song for Leona and also to duet together, as the X Factor duet, “A Million Love Songs” was absolutely wonderful. Their voices compliment each others very well. Looking forward to hearing something great in the future. Good luck!
