Leona, who is the only female left in the X Factor competitions says praying gets her through the live Saturday night shows.

Leona said: “I usually pray and then get on stage and get on with it. I know that someone is watching over me“.

“My parents are not really religious. It’s more my own thing.”

The fantastic Leona has also appealed to female fans, usually prone to voting for male contestants. She said: “I’m really, really proud that I’m the only girl left. I’m still trying to hang on in there and fight my corner for the girls and hopefully people will still vote for me.

“I would love it to be a fairytale ending and I’m asking people to please vote and support my dream.”
