Leona says not much has changed in the two years since winning The X Factor, when it comes to her down to earth lifestyle.
Leona says her friends and family don’t treat her any differently, despite her success.
‘It’s what keeps me grounded,’ she says. ‘I make sure I have plenty of time chilling out, doing normal things. You know, having lie-ins, catching up on EastEnders.’
Leona, 23, says she won’t move away from her home in Hackney, East London, despite rumours that Simon Cowell plans to buy her an LA mansion.
‘That was hilarious,’ she tells Fabulous. ‘People kept asking me about the house. I was like: “What house?” At least I could say to Simon: “So where’s this house then?”’
And the star says her long-term boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa, 23, isn’t interested in her fame or fortune.
‘I love my boy and that he’s out grafting and earning his way. I really respect that.
‘He’s not interested in the money.’
