Leona Lewis and her boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa will apparently spend New Year in the lap of luxury on a private beach in the Caribbean – but unfortunately so will some of her bosses at Sony BMG.

The X Factor winner – who is currently No 1 in the charts with her debut album and single Bleeding Love – has been given the treat by her music bosses, but it might not be quite as private as the she hopes.

A friend told The Sun: “It’s all expenses paid, in a private cabin in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.

“But I’m not sure this is quite the perfect break for a young couple.”

Leona insisted she wanted to spend Christmas Day with her family in Hackney.

“She’ll fly out on Boxing Day,” the friend added. “All this showbiz stuff still feels strange to Leona and Lou.”
