Leona’s last single caused me concern – her power was gone and her voice airy. Then I heard about her voice problems. Not surprising. I hope she gets it figured out. While I See You was performed beautifully, it was not performed flawlessly – I heard the warbling and lack of power at times.

Anxiety absolutely can affect your vocal cords. Muscles become tense and stamina is lost. I have the same issue – where I was once in the limelight performing at the top, I am now almost non-existent. I suspect food allergies and reflux contributed, but anxiety is a cause that is not readily looked at but that is a major problem for singers.

Aw:( I hope she gets better! It must be horrible coming down with throat illnesses all the time! Maybe it’s not the stress…maybe it’s just the strain on her voice? Like what happened to Mariah Carey? You can develop real problems if you try to reach the high notes all the time. I hope she gets well soon!

eeeeek!!! that scares me..i hope that she gets over her tonsilitis soon! the next few weeks are huge for her in the states. cuz bleeding love is big here but it hasn’t completely taken over the US music scene..so many people still don’t know her! love u leona feel better
