While promoting her new book Leona: Dreams yesterday, Leona was asked about the recent and tragic death of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately.
Leona said: “It’s just so devastating for somebody so young. My thoughts are with his family. He was so young and it was so sudden.”
Before the shocking incident happened, Leona spoke about the new book she was promoting, saying:
“It’s not an autobiography, it’s like a picture book. Doing one (an autobiography) this early on, I didn’t feel it was right, so doing it with pictures sat with me as something more creative and just a bit different.”
