Leona posted the following message on her official site earlier today: Feb 29 2008 - Hey everyone Hey guys sorry I haven’t written until now. After the Brits I flew straight off to Africa for Sport Relief. It was a truly life changing experience and I’ve written a diary of my time there which will be up on the site soon!! I had an incredible night at the Brits, performing there was such a great experirence for me. I want to thank everyone who voted for me on the awards your support is amazing, thank you, I know there were many stories about me being upset or dissapointed on the night but they couldn’t be further from the truth! I had a wonderful time and I’m just glad I got to perform because thats what I love!
I’m on my way to San Remo at the mo so I’ll keep you posted on how it all goes!! Love always, |

As much as I love Leona, she really needs to get a bit more honest, and tough!
Not disappointed? Seriously? I don’t understand why she’d pretend not to be. Does she think expressing some sort of though or emotion other than ‘I’m so happy and honored to be here’ is going to shatter her dream?
Please Leona, sort it (and carry on making great music).

We’re not all the same. How do you know that she’s not being genuine in what she’s saying? Just because you might have been annoyed in the same circumstances, doesn’t mean everyone else would. She’s got lots to feel happy and honoured about, she was asked to perform at the Brits, most of the other performers were established international artists who have all had more than 2 hits in terms of released singles (which is what Leona had when asked to perform). That in itself is a huge achievement. She’s gone so far and her career is still in its baby years. so i DO believe her when she says she wasn’t upset - I don’t see why there should be a presumption to contrary.

Really of you want my opion,SHUT-UP!!!, leave the poor girl alone ok she is doing vaery well for her self ok, nothing gonna bring her down I’m mean you heard her voice. Gift from god if you ask me, but really worry about your own, leave poor girl alone she’s got alot on her plate with flying place to place, an the albums and music to do, a man to take care of I’d like to see you try that rumors are rumors ok. Leave them be, but thats my point an it’s been made. But to Leona we love you girl!!!!! your amazing an very talented and you even made Simon proud and thats hard your so young an overcome so many things, you are a insperation to me an many others, I work with music myself don’t sing though, never that me singing hahahahah, but really i want to be successful like you, being able to get a chance to work with you would just………….no word can explain how that would feel. But best wishes to you, keep doing you an you’ll go farther than ever your a great, wanderful, freakin just WOOOOOWWWW, an I don’t know your WOW,but good luck know your tour ’s coming up well I think, Peace Love, an happiness.
