This is the proper blog for anybody who wants to seek out out about this topic. You notice so much its nearly onerous to argue with you (not that I truly would want…HaHa). You undoubtedly put a new spin on a topic thats been written about for years. Great stuff, simply nice!

Leona,
I wanted to thank you for your song "better in time" At the end of Nov. I lost my mother to cancer and at the same time my young daughter and her boyfriend broke up. My daughter is very young but this boy was almost 4 yrs older then her and she thought he was her future, he broke up with her 12 days after my moms passing. needless to say Christmas and New Year were not very happy around here. I wish I had all the right words to tell her she took the break up very badly, I found the words to Better in time and I told her that this was her song, everything I had wanted to express to her regarding her 2 losses you put to pen and lyrics. He told her that he was going to wait for her to grow up and that she was the love of his life, and she believed him hook, line, and sinker, she felt like the rug had been ripped out from underneath her, my mom did not like him, she tried to tell her, but my daughter would not listen, when my mom died my daughter was there with her, such a differicult time for someone nearly 15. I noticed that after I had given her the words to your song I cam home and found his pictures off her computer!! That was such a hugh step, and I notice she is coming around again, starting to be her old self again. I am grateful for your talent and I know that in order for you to feel or write what you did you yourself had to experience the hurt that life brings us.
Thank you so much for sharing your gift and for helping to heal a 15 year old's heart.
