Leona Lewis has revealed she can understand Simon Cowell’s sex-appeal - but, at 48, is to old for her.

She said: “Simon’s great. We have a bond. I get that people find him attractive because he’s very charming, and it’s probably the power thing. He’s got a lot of power, so I can see it. But his girlfriend Terri would beat me up if I went there!

“I’m 22 and he’s a bit on the older side. He’s like my dad, like a father figure to me.”

Leona also revealed she isn’t worried about her new success spoiling her relationship with her boyfriend Lou.

She added to Britain’s Star magazine: “He’s cool and just happy for me. We’ve never been that couple who’ve been together night and day, so things haven’t changed that much.

“I hope we can last. We’ve been together for such a long time that I’m hoping we’ll be able to sustain it for years to come.
