I have been getting quite a lot of emails from people asking if I know when Leona is going on tour. Earlier this year it was announced by people from her label that there would be no touring until 2009 or 2010.
Now Leona herself has told press that the tour won’t happen in 2009, it will take place in 2010. She says that 2009 will be spent focusing on recording her new album. Leona told BBC “the live tour will probably come the year after next. Next year is album. Album then tour”.
In other news, Leona will be performing on The X-Factor next week and she says she’s not quite as nervous as she was last year, when she performed “Bleeding Love” one year since winning the show. She said: “This year I think I’ll be nervous, but I will be a little bit more confident. It’s just going back to where it all began, going on to that stage and having the judges there.”
