Last week it was revealed Simon had proposed to his girlfriend, make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy and the pair are planning to wed later this year. Leona says she would love to serenade the couple when they tie the knot, but isn’t sure if the wedding rumours are accurate.

“I haven’t been able to speak to him yet, I don’t know if it is a rumour or if it is true,” she admitted on British breakfast show GMTV when asked about Simon’s engagement. “I will have to speak to him soon and find out.

“If it is true, then of course, yeah I will sing at the wedding. There is a world of singing to be done in Simon’s life.”
