Simon Cowell is fuming as a song written for Leona Lewis was given to Beyonce for her ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’ album, say reports.
The track is called ‘Halo’ and was penned by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder – who co-wrote Leona’s hit single ‘Bleeding Love’ with Jesse McCartney.
Insiders claim Cowell and Tedder had agreed to let Lewis sing the song for her second album, expected in 2009, but the R&B star has since recorded it for herself.
“Leona’s diary is so rammed it didn’t look like she could record it until next year.” A source at SonyBMG is quoted as saying. “Ryan didn’t want to hang around so he gave it to Beyonce”.
