As well as appearing on The Ellen Show yesterday, Leona also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Leona sat down with the hilarious talk show host and spoke about her success, rumors, Simon Cowell (of course) and about her relationship with Lou - a topic which Jimmy found very interesting.
Leona also performed 2 songs on the show - “Bleeding Love” and “Better In Time.” It’s a really cute and funny interview and the performances are amazing as always! Watch the interview below and the 2 performances after the jump - Enjoy!
Leona Lewis interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live [April 11, 2008]
Leona is a closet rock chick. Leona told press that she loves listening to bands like Radiohead , Foo Fighters and heavy metal band System of a Down.
She said: “I love Radiohead. They are so innovative. I still believe they are way ahead of their time. I’m into a lot of rock music, not just pop. I’ve been listening to a lot of System of a Down, Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol lately.”
Leona has also thanked the big music stars who came forward to work with her on the US version of her debut album ‘Spirit’, which hit shelves on Tuesday.
Leona was spotted by the paps at JFK airport a couple of days ago. After a couple of weeks spent in New York to promote her single and album, Leona is now in Los Angeles where she is appearing, and has appeared, on even more talk shows. I just found some more candids of Leona out and about in New York. This time she was spotted going for a coffee run at Starbucks. Leona’s former boss at a mortgage broker is still holding the job for her in case she wants to return.
Lewis recently became the first British singer to top the US singles chart in more than 20 years with her hit “Bleeding Love,” but her old employer has guaranteed that she will always have her work if her career doesn’t take off.
She said: “He was like, ‘I’m still going to keep the job open for you’. And I think he’s still kept it open until this day. He texts me sometimes and says, ‘It’s still open’.”

Great news! After monthsyears of speculation, even from Leona herself, who said in this interview that she wasn’t going to be performing on American Idol, E! can now exclusively report that Leona WILL be performing on the show! It’s all happening this month, April 23rd on FOX.
