Denise Van Outen has claimed that the media should focus on stars like Leona Lewis.

Denise said she was disappointed that tabloids concentrate on the antics of troubled celebrities like Amy Winehouse instead of positive success stories.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, she said: “I couldn’t believe it when I opened the paper the other day and saw a massive picture of Amy Winehouse, completely off her face.

Leona graces the cover of Blender magazine’s July 2008 issue. Lewis, 23, is proud of her image and insists she’ll let her music speak for her.

“I don’t wear little miniskirts and low-cut tops,” says Lewis. “If you want to show your bits off, it’s up to you.”

Turns out P. Diddy is a huge Leona Lewis fan. Diddy told reporters recently that he would love to work with her on his next album.

P. Diddy, real name Sean Combs, told the Daily Mirror: “I want that girl on my next album. I’m a huge fan. Not only is she so, so beautiful, she has a great voice. She is extremely talented, and it’s great she’s from England.
