Earlier this evening Leona performed Happy at a Breast Cancer Gala in Sweden. Such a fantastic performance, she nailed it – it was perfect! She gets better and better with each performance. And that high note… well, watch for yourself below

Leona has always said she’d love to try acting at some point (she seems quite good at it too, from what we’ve seen in music videos) and she recently revealed that she would love to star on successful vampire show ‘True Blood.’ Leona said: “I’m totally mad over shows like True Blood. I’d die if someone asked me to be in something like that. It’d be a dream come true.”

I’m crazy about this show myself and they actually play Leona’s “Bleeding Love” in one of the episodes. It would be so cool if she was on it!

In an interview that aired earlier today on Sky News, Leona Lewis spoke for the first time about the horrible punching incident at her recent book signing. She had a good outlook on it and said “it could have been worse, I’m still alive” and said she is a very positive person and won’t dwell on the negatives.

Leona has revealed that she turned down the chance to kiss ‘Gossip Girl’ actor Chace Crawford for fear of making her boyfriend jealous. Asked if partner Lou Al-Chamaa ever gets jealous of the boys in her videos Leona told Sugar magazine: ‘I think he would if I was kissing them, but I’d never do that. They wanted me and Chace [Crawford] to kiss in the I Will Be video. But I said no way.’

She added: ‘I’d just have been too embarrassed, he’s my friend! He’s so beautiful, I mean, look at him – he could be a girl. He’d be a really pretty girl. But I just don’t think of him like that. And it wouldn’t be fair to Lou to kiss other guys.’

Leona Lewis has said that she does not feel competitive with fellow X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

Leona told Sugar that she is pleased with Burke’s success and is content to focus on her own music.

Lewis said: “Oh Alexandra! She’s just so beautiful. ‘Bad Boys’ is a great song and so her – so much fun.

“We all went out for a mutual friend’s birthday the other day and she seems very happy. Everyone asks if I’m worried about going up against her – but I’m not. It’s about doing your own thing.”
