Leona and boyfriend Lou were spotted in Santa Monica enjoying a sunny California day. Lou rented a bike while Leona jogged alongside. Later on, gentleman Lou gave a barefooted Leona a ride back to their hotel. These two are so cute together, and I’m glad to see that, despite Leona’s busy schedule, they make sure to spend some time together. Click below to view all the pictures!

Leona’s team have reportedly hired a personal trainer for her, to tone her body.

Leona (who is beautiful as she is, by the way!) has done extraordinarily well in America, but her advisers still think she needs to shed a few pounds for her next video, so they have hired top trainer Patricia Gay.

A source revealed to a British newspaper: “Some of her team think she needs to be a bit sexier if she wants to have the longevity of other female artists”

So this is where they were off to when they were seen departing L.A. earlier this month — Hawaii! Leona and Lou were spotted at Kona International Airport, after having spent a nice little holiday together in the paradise that is Hawaii.

Leona is going to be hitting Australian shores very soon, to promote her single and album, and 5 lucky fans will get the chance to meet her! Sony Ericsson is presenting a one-night-only music showcase with Leona on Tuesday, 29 April. The winners will win a backstage pass to meet Leona and one lucky winner will receive their very own Leona Platinum award signed by the artist herself!

All you have to do is shoot a video of you singing Leona’s hit single ‘Bleeding love’ and upload it to her YouTube channel before Noon on Monday, 28 April.

Mariah Carey has spoken out about all the recent comparisons to Leona Lewis.

Carey insists she “didn’t really hear any similarity” between Leona’s music and her own, and claims there will never be a “new” Mariah.

She said: “Honestly, there has been so many, ‘This is the new her,’ and I’m like, ‘OK, show me the new her. Can she come and work for me and be my double?’ ”

“And I’m not particular talking about this girl Leona, because I only heard her once and I didn’t really hear a true similarity, particularly in the style of music.

Remember when a fan gave Leona a birthday card in New York? Well, this is the fan. His name is Brandon, and he was kind enough to send us this picture, along with some kind words about Leona: “she was soo nice and sweet a lil’ shy at first but probably not used to people constantly being around her.”

Leona has scored a rare double in the U.S. by claiming the top spot on both the album and singles charts.

“Bleeding Love” was ousted from the number one position by Mariah Carey’s track “Touch My Body” - but now Lewis has toppled Carey, just a day after becoming the first British female solo artist to debut at number one on the Billboard album chart.

By scoring the double, Lewis becomes the first Brit to top both charts in the same week since Phil Collins in 1990.

The Carey/Lewis chart war is expected to continue next week, when the Carey is expected to take over at the top of the album chart with her new release E=MC2.
