Leona should be extremely proud of herself! She has exploded into homes around Australia with ‘Spirit’ and ‘Bleeding Love’ taking the #1 album and single position in the National Motorola ARIA charts.

To complete this hat trick, ‘Bleeding Love’ which has been the number #1 selling single for the last 3 weeks, is now also the #1 most played song on Australian radio.

Leona will be hitting Australian shores in late April for a promotional tour and special performances.

I have finally added the gorgeous scans from the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The pictures are amazing and the article is a great read. I apologise for the heavy tagging, but it took quite a while to scan these, and people are great at stealing photos without giving credit, so that’s why they are tagged. A lot of Americans have emailed me asking when Spirit is going to be released in the States, and the answer is April 8th.

Leona is currently back in the studio, recording two new songs specially for the US release — Forgive Me by singer/producer Akon and Misses Glass from producer/writers Madd Scientist and Rock City.

Additionally, Leona has re-recorded the video for Bleeding Love (as we saw in these pictures) and there is now a special version for the US. The video was shot by director Jessy Terrero and I’m hearing it’s not a remix of the song, just a new video. Phew. The video will premiere in early February.

I can’t wait for Leona to start promoting in America!
