Leona Lewis caught up with Kanye West and Rihanna backstage after his exclusive show in London. Backstage the stars had a sneak preview look at one of Kanye’s new videos. Kanye introduced Leona to his friend Rihanna, where Leona - wearing an Alice Temperley dress and the latest Walter Steiger shoes - congratulated Rihanna on the success of her latest hit. Rihanna said she is looking forward to hearing Leona’s new tracks and loved her version of I Will Always Love You.

Leona Lewis went horse riding in Malibu sporting a cowboy hat and boots. The singer looked the part as she trekked into the mountains of Malibu for over an hour. She was joined by a friend and the owner of the horses on journey, but needed no help getting on and off the big horse which she did with ease.

Leona Lewis gets a henna tattoo while out and about on Venice Boardwalk, CA. Wearing a colourful and eye-catching dress, she sat for five minutes while she had the tattoo drawn on her left hand. Then after browsing some of the crazy stands, she bought herself a California Princess license plate and a cold smoothie. She and her friend then left in their convertible Mercedes, but not before being spotted by some fans and signing an autograph.

 Talented Leona Lewis was pictured out partying with hugely popular singers Kanye West and Rihanna. Leona reportedly befriended Kanye last month while they were recording tracks together at an LA recording studio. Kanye was so impressed with Leona that he decided to introduce her to Rihanna, a good friend of his, after his secret gig in London on Monday night.
An insider told Digital Spy, “Leona and Rihanna swapped style tips and bonded straight away. Leona congratulated Rihanna on her number one success with ‘Umbrella’, and Rihanna told Leona that she’d been absolutely blown away by clips of her singing on the net. It was a real love fest.”
The 3 singers ended the evening at London’s exclusive Mahiki nightclub, where they are said to have racked up a £6,000 bar bill.

Leona’s second single “Bleeding Love” is set to be released on the 29th of October this year. Bleeding love was written by Ryan Tedder and recoded while Leona was in LA. Ryan has written for such artists as Jennifer Lopez and Lil’ Jon.
Leona’s album is still untitled but we do know it’s due for release on the 5th of November in the UK and early 2008 in America.
Simon talked about the album and said: “We’ve been working on it for 10 months, we could have just thrown it out but we didn’t want to do that. Leona is as good as early Whitney or Mariah.”
