Leona and her team have reportedly turned down £250,000 to perform for only 15 minutes at a show in Dubai.

Lewis, 23, was offered the fee to sing at a corporate ball in Dubai and was also offered pay for everything, including air tickets and a five-night stay at the world’s only seven star hotel, Burj Al Arab, The Sun newspaper reported.

According to The Sun, a source revealed that “Leona was offered the £250,000 to perform just four songs. It wouldn’t have taken much more than 15 minutes. But it seems it wasn’t enough for her team.”

Leona is set to perform in the U.S on the Oprah Winfrey Show! Leona will perform her smash hit “Bleeding Love” on Oprah on Monday 17th of March, St. Patrick’s Day.

This should provide Leona with a great opportunity to impress the Americans, Oprah has a huge audience so we’re sure she will gain a whole bunch of new American fans. We’re still looking forward to / hoping Leona will perform on American Idol sometime soon!

Leona has truly been ruling Europe, lets hope she does the same in the U.S.

Remember when Jamelia lashed out at Leona ages ago? Well, Leona has something to say about it. I don’t know if this is an old quote or not, it sounds familiar, but it’s all over the blogosphere at the moment:

“If people are being horrible to you, it stems from their own insecurities. Jamelia said some nasty things about me, which hurt as I’ve never met her. I don’t know if she definitely said it, but if she did it’s sad. Us girls should support each other. I still think she’s good and I wouldn’t say anything bad about her.”
