Leona has decided to auction herself off for one afternoon to the highest eBay bidder and she plans to use the money in order to help Oxfam’s Haiti earthquake appeal.
Gigwise quotes her as saying: “I’ve been amazed and inspired by the courage of people in Haiti.
“What’s happened has been so devastating, and I really want to do anything I can to help. At times like this we’re reminded of how important it is to help, so please dig deep and thanks to all of you for your support.”
Bidding currently stands at £1,950 and closes on March 1. The former X Factor winner has also put other items on the website to make extra money.

Last week it was revealed Simon had proposed to his girlfriend, make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy and the pair are planning to wed later this year. Leona says she would love to serenade the couple when they tie the knot, but isn’t sure if the wedding rumours are accurate.
“I haven’t been able to speak to him yet, I don’t know if it is a rumour or if it is true,” she admitted on British breakfast show GMTV when asked about Simon’s engagement. “I will have to speak to him soon and find out.
“If it is true, then of course, yeah I will sing at the wedding. There is a world of singing to be done in Simon’s life.”

Leona has said she would pose nude for Animal Rights charity PETA in a stance against fashion designers who use real fur. But only if it is “done tastefully”.
“I would love to do a campaign for them in the future. I’d definitely look to do something if it was done tastefully and for the plight of animals everywhere around the world.”

Leona has revealed that she wants to create “another world” for her new tour. She says she’s very involved in the entire process and was inspired by the movie Avatar.
“I’m so excited and can’t wait,” she told the Daily Star. “I want people to see that it represents me so I’m involved in every part of it, even the lighting and merchandise. I want to give my fans something very special so I’m trying to create something that no-one has ever done before. I hope they’ll be blown away.”

Despite a whopping six nominations over the past three occasions, Leona Lewis has always left the ceremony empty-handed.
She has been given just one nod this time round for Best Female but Leona does not hold out much hope of winning the gong.
“If I had to put money down, mine would be on Lily Allen,” she says.
