As we know, Simon Cowell only has nice things to say about Leona and it seems he can’t praise her enough. Recently Simon spoke to the media about her and said the following:
“Leona has got her feet firmly on the ground and isn’t getting carried away by all of this. She takes nothing for granted. She has an incredible future ahead - but I only want her to do it if she’s happy and enjoying herself. Leona is a great role model for young people on both sides of the Atlantic. She is a lovely person and there is no chance of her going off the rails.”
Leona was on Good Morning America this morning. She was interviewed for a few minutes and performed 2 songs - “Bleeding Love” and “Better in Time.” Both were flawless! Check out the performances below and after the jump, and click here to watch the interview.

It’s Leona’s 23rd birthday tomorrow (April 3rd) and today she posted the following message on her official site along with this picture:
Apr 02 2008 - Birthday in New York
I went out on Friday in LA to celebrate ‘Bleeding Love’ reaching Number.1 out here, and had a great night! My travel mates gave me a surprise and popped party poppers and had massive balloons and a cake for me. We went to a lovely Thai restaurant then to a club where I met some of my friends I worked on the album with, I also bumped into Jesse McCartney. He’s so sweet and so happy about everything that’s been happening.
A number of top US movie studios are reportedly bidding for three of Leona’s songs, including her hit “Bleeding Love.”
It is thought that bosses could turn it into a theme song as big as Whitney Houston’s 1992 smash I Will Always Love You from the movie The Bodyguard.
A source is quoted as saying in a newspaper: “A number of huge offers are on the table for Leona’s songs. The bids for Bleeding Love are staggering. They’re into seven figures.
