Leona Lewis has fell ill once again with tonsillitis and has flown home to London while she recovers. Leona has been over doing it during her long daily hours recording her debut album in LA.
Leona has been working closely with Clive Davis, the man behind the likes of Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston, and is expected to meet a September deadline.
Leona’s Dad, Joe said to newspapers that “She has been overdoing it. The expectations on her are so great,” her dad Joe told the Sunday Mirror. “She’s in the studio every day, late into the night. Now her producers have stopped until her voice gets better.”
Leona is expected to spend a week in London with her family while she recovers.

She might be on the final
I hope she is on AI i heard before it had even started that she would b on n I neva watched AI before this one n I watched it this year n i wanted her 2 b on it she might fly bak out u neva no lol!
Let’s hope so she’s on the final, though I don’t think she will.
Yeah I thought she would be on American Idol this week. If she misses this opportunity it will be a big shame.

I am so disappointed on Leona’s behalf that she is too ill to perform on American Idol tomorrow night. Maroon 5 will be appearing instead. More importantly, I hope that she feels better soon and is not finding the pressure & expectation too much.
Don’t forget she did sing live on x-factor with tonsilitus so maybe she’ll do the same on AI, lets face it with or without being ill she will blow them away coz she is a true talent – way better than anything they’ve got this year!!
Be gutted for her to miss out and it’s not really a good start to her career pulling out of her first major gig – bet simon is well annoyed.
i think we should just hope they’ll let her perform on ai next week. though i sadly doubt it,as it’s the final and I think their show it already jam packed as it is.

She is actually 22 she was born in 1985! Which makes her 22. By the way how can she be 21 n then 22 during x-factor wen her bday is in april lol :S! She was 21 just before the auditions and was 22 in April this year.
