Leona may not be able to afford buying her own house just yet, but Simon Cowell has reportedly bought one for her in Los Angeles, and it cost him a whopping $5 million (£2.5 million). Cowell and other people at Leona’s label apparently think it would be good for her to have a home in L.A. now that she’s hit #1 in America and will be promoting a lot there. A source told a newspaper: “Even though Simon is very rich, he’s careful with money and doesn’t like to waste it [but he] thinks she is absolutely amazing so he wanted to treat her.” “He’s so pleased with how hard she works and what a massive success she’s become.”

Jeez, when i treat myself i buy myself a chocolate bar or a new pair of shoes. Leona? She gets a £2.5 mil. house.
It’s not fair. She is a SINGER. Why should she get all of this? She cries when she loses out on awards when she’s been nominated for 4, which is more than some singers can say.
I’m not bashing, because i love Leona, but this is ridiculous.

Simon has so much money, £2.5m is nothing to him.

It was reported right here on this site than she left the Brits early in tears because she didn’t win any of the awards.
Just because someone has a lot of money doesn’t mean they should spend it on people who have £50mil. contracts…

Yes, that article was from a tabloid (= doesn’t mean it’s true), and in a later post it had a blog from Leona where she wrote what I said in my previous comment. But anyway..
There is no reason to talk badly about people because they have a lot of money. We wish we had that kind of money! And Leona doesn’t have a $50m contract yet, and even if she did, that doesn’t mean SHE gets $50m, it means that the label is going to spend that amount on her albums, promotion, videos etc.

And i didn’t say anything bad about her money. Leona is a singer and gets millions of pounds, but nurses who save lives and get one of the smallest saleries. You tell me who deserves the money more.

Concerning about Simon buying that house to her nobody has nothing to do with it. That is his money. He helps many people in need already such as Afrikans and children in hospitals.
The judge Simon is nasty (sweetest nasty one) but the human being Simon is all hearts. I am his fan! A big one!
