Leona’s former mentor Simon Cowell has revealed he absolutely loves her new single ‘Happy’ – branding it “genius.”
Simon told ET Online: “I remember where I was when I heard the song for the first time. I remember it starting and sitting up in my chair praying that the chorus was going to deliver on what I’d heard.
“As soon as it hit the chorus, I turned it off, got (Leona) on the phone and said, ‘This song is genius’. I couldn’t stop playing it.”
He added: “When my friends came over from London it must have been on repeat about 25 times. All these people just falling in love with this record. I’d never seen a reaction like that before.”
